南米リアルタイム旅行記 Day10 in Arequipa, Peru

I am in Arequipa now. We drove all the way down here from Nazka. It took us for 2 days by bus! Since there is no airport in Nazuka, people who want to see the Nazka lines must travel by car, which is very inconvenient though we just have no choice.

We stayed over a night at Puerto Inca which is not introduced even by "Chikyu-no arukikata". But I think they should. It is just a very peaceful and lovely place! Well, I am going to mention about that later, with the photos.

Anyway, I did sightseeing in Arequipa today. I quite enjoyed myself to see the covent and the mummy in the museum. Mummy - it is the one of the most famous mummys in the world - a mummy of a little girl who were the offering to the Incas God and found about 10 years ago in a perfect condition. I also enjoyed to see the beautiful country side with volcanos of which hight is over 6,000M.

Tomorrow, we are going to fly to Puno which is famous for Lake Titicaca. But we are very much concerned about the altitude sickness as the altitude there is 3,855M!!! So I think I might go to bed early tonight to keep in good shape... Aucually, I have to wake up 5:00 tomorrow morning, so its almost time for bed now (its just 9 pm though...)
