There is no place like home? (Sumeba Miyako)

It is midnight of day 2.
As I took a long nap, I am not sleepy at all.

I think I am kind of getting used to the stay here already.
The proverb "There is no place like home (Sumeba Miyako)" might be true.
But, of course, I miss my REAL home...!

After I took "OK" breakfast at the hotel (all breakfast is included in the tour), I checked the guidebook and memorize the directions and some Spanish expressions.
This process is really necessary as it can be dangerous to open guidebook in town - you might be targeted easily!
It is also important to walk in town purposefully even when you are lost!

After the preparation finished, I went out for meals and shopping.
But actually, they were just around the hotel as I did not want to go far by myself...
I walked around just a small area of Miraflores.
But it is enough for today!

At lunch, I went to a restaurant called "Norkys" which "Chikyu no arukikata" recommends.
The place is very neat and cozy, and they serve delicious grilled chicken and french fries at very reasonable price!

(This is 1/4 de pollo)
I felt very refreshed having coffee after proper meal.

Shopping - I got the medicine for mountain sickness, bottled water and a washbowl, senmenki!
The reason why I got a "senmenki" is that the sink in the washroom can not keep water because it does not have a stopper!
Then, I had a great trouble with washing the clothes...
Actually, what I got is a big foodbowl, but it does not matter at all.
Now, I can wash my clothes no problem!
What a primitive life here!

Since it seemed I had not got over the jet lag yet, I got back to the hotel and took a nap for 4 hours!
It was already 22:30 when I found myseld hungry.
I thought it is rather late to go out on my own, but the restaurant I checked is only 30 second walk from the hotel, so I dicided to go there.
I put some bills in my pockets separately, held only a Spanish conversation book by hand.
Robbers should not find me attractive!

The restaurant is called "La Trattoria".
It is also recommended by "Chikyu no Arukikata" as the famous Italian place the celebrity also visit sometimes.
A toasted thin bread and olive oil were served as soon as I seated.
The olive oil is extremely fruity and the bread is also tasty.
Then I thought, their pasta should be great!
I ordered handmade pasta with fresh tomato, grilled eggplant, basil and Mozzarella cheese.
One second after I started eating it - I spoke to myself "OISHI-----!!!".
It did exceed my expectation!
Pasta is chewy and other ingredients are just great!

The restaurants I visited today are really good and I would like to recommend them to someone who are planning to go to Lima.
I think they can run business successfully even in Tokyo!

Well... now it is like "Gourmet Diary in Peru"!
